Staff Evaluations 2015-2016
  1. Staff members will meet with their assigned evaluator by Labor Day to complete an evaluation orientation . (NOTE: Beginning 2016-2017, evaluation orientation will included with opening day activities.)
  2. Staff members will contact their evaluators with goal ideas and, when approved, complete and submit their professional goal by Sep 15 (located on evaluation form). (NOTE: Beginning 2016-2017, professional goals will be due by Labor Day.)
  3. Staff members will schedule observation events with their evaluator. Once scheduled, staff members will submit an observation logistics form to provide observation details.
    • Upon submission, staff members and their evaluators will each receive copies of the observation logistics.
  4. A minimum of 3 observations and post-observation conferences will be conducted.
    • The first observation and post-observation conference will be completed by November 1.
    • The second observation and post-observation conference will be completed by February 1.
    • The third observation and post-observation conference will be completed by April 1.
  5. Post-observation conferences will include
    • staff member's perspective of the positive aspects of the observation and what can be improved or considered in the future
    • evaluator's perspective of the positive aspects of the observation and what can be improved or considered in the future
    • a status report of the staff member's professional goal
  6. Staff members will complete and submit their self assessment to their evaluator one week before their performance review (no later than April 15).
